I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for working with clients who are ready to start living a better life. I strongly believe in providing skills and tools that clients can quickly implement into everyday life to ease the human condition of emotional pain and suffering. While it takes practice, clients who are willing to consider approaching life challenges with new skills and support begin to heal relationships and thrive!
 
I use a complementary mix of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Integrative Neurobiology, and psychoeducation to assist clients with acquiring tangible skills for living a better life.
 
With couples, I use Gottman Method-informed skills training as well as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) techniques to get to the primary emotion for greater healing. I am also a huge proponent of Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Self-Compassion as a primary tool to assist with a variety of coping afflictions such as low self esteem, anxiety, traumatic memories, unshakeable sadness, and difficulty making healthy decisions.
 
I believe all humans have value and I work diligently to provide ethical, compassionate, client-focused services.
